During our lunch time club, we have been learning about the Mexican holiday 'el Día de los Muertos' (the Day of the Dead) which is celebrated across 3 days from 31st -2nd November. It is a time of celebration and parades, when families remember and honour their deceased loved ones. As part of their enrichment activities, students have been making colourful paper marigolds, a flower symbolising life and designing sugar skulls (calaveras).
