Dear Jayden Watts, Even though you knew about your several life-long conditions, you were such an amazing, courageous young man who continued to follow his passion of supporting the Bristol Rovers football club. You never gave up on what you wanted to do, even when things got very tough. You kept going through everything life threw at you, because you were determined to be the best you could. You were very loved by everyone in the Bristol Rovers and Blaise High School community, and it was so devastating for all of us to learn about your tragic death during Easter break. You were so amazing Jayden, and we miss you so much. But, thanks to your parents, who looked after such a kind-hearted child for the past 14 years, your legacy continues to live on, and you will never be forgotten about. Thank you, for being such a wonderful individual, and I wish the best for your parents and siblings in the near future. Best wishes, Ethan Crabtree. ❤️

Jayden You were a lovely young man whom it was a privilege to know and have worked with. I always enjoyed talking to you about how bad Bristol Rovers are and I particularly enjoyed your complaints about the various managers have been in the time you were with us at Blaise. You really lived the Blaise values and your strength of character and determination to continue in the face of adversity was a real testament to you and your family. We will remember you at our school and your legacy will be a part of the school for years to come. Thank you.

Jayden You were a cheeky, funny, charismatic human being that we had joy seeing every day in our school. Your perseverance and resilience was second to none, and we were just so astonished by you, through your resilience against all adversities. We are so proud to have you as part of Blaise High School legacy, and your memory will live on through your year group, your friends, your teachers, and everyone who had the pleasure to get to know you. I had the pleasure of knowing Jayden when he was a pupil at Brentry Primary School. He was a fun loving boy, who despite being poorly, always just got on with life and loved to tease me about supporting Bristol City! He was an inspiration to us all at Brentry and we loved it when he came back to our special events, like our Sumner Fair and Firework show. He always took the time to come say hello to us. My heart goes out to his family, who must be devastated to of lost such an amazing brave young boy. I am grateful to of known him, even if it was for a short time. Xxx

I didn't know Jayden, but I definitely believed he lived an astonishing life, despite difficulties and hardships, and even though his life was cut short, I think we all know it was filled with promise and hope that will go on living in the rest of us as we continue to commemorate his life through living our lives, though hard, but remembering brave Jayden who will be remembered, missed and forever respected by the fellow students of Blaise High.

Jayden, you were such a wonderful young man and will be greatly missed by all of us at Blaise. I first met you when you joined in year 7. I have great memories of crate stacking, abseiling and climbing at camp and also football sessions during PE lessons. You were so friendly with students and staff and I thank you for welcoming my grandson when he joined Blaise. We chatted most days, mainly about our shared passion for Bristol Rovers and the minutes applause at the Mem was a fitting tribute I will never forget. Goodnight Irene Goodnight Irene I'll see you in my dreams

Jayden, your courage and determination to just get on with life were an inspiration to me. I miss seeing you coming through the Blaise High School gate in the morning and our catch-ups as we walked together to the door and lift. I loved watching you chatting with your friends in Mountain Rescue and playing Dobble and Uno, before heading off to your lessons to work hard. Your bravery and aspiration will be a legacy that is shared by us all at Blaise and we are so fortunate to have been able to share a part of your journey.

Similar to a few others, I had not known Jayden all too well, but it's heart breaking to hear the passing of a young person, moreover someone who had gone to this school. I wish everyone who had known Jayden the best in life, losing someone you know is not anything pleasant to hear.
